Weekly Vibe #33
Hi Creative and Fashionable people!
Welcome to the 33rd edition of Weekly Vibe! :) This week was a very smoky week if you lived in Singapore and around the region because of the haze.
Hazes at high levels are life-threatening to the ill and the elderly and is a gradual killer as well as these smoke are emitted from forest fires and it had reached hazardous levels for the past weeks but as of yesterday and today, the haze has reduced and visibility finally got better!
This week was pretty busy for me in the studio as I had to clear up my backlogs before I could leave for my reservice for the military over the next 2 weeks. I went back to base on Wednesday with a new uniform and was so looking forward to seeing the guys I have been slugging out my life with when I was in my military active days! I also helped out on a Saturday to move our studio to a new location and it was really exhausting for me, we started packing at 8am and finally got down with unpacking and ended at 11pm! Man! I was so tired when I got home and had a good sleep but woke up still feeling really tired and sore from moving all the heavy stuff.
Now for the hosiery updates!
Tightsplease is having a discount for a couple of their products and the one really want to highlight are the Wolford hosiery products are actually on discounts as high as 50% off! Follow the link here!
I really enjoyed wearing my Wolford Velvet De Luxe 66 tights on Sunday and I just realised something about how wearing the right underwear will affect the hose you wear as well and it will be a post I will be writing up soon for the days to come!
That's all for this week!!

Weekly Vibe #32
Hi Creative and Fashionable people!
Earlier today I was wearing my Nylonica Linea 70 opaque tights which PantyhoseHQ sent for reviewing purposes(I usually wear them for a day out before writing a review) and I had a friend who randomly commented on my bottoms and said "Cool pants!" well since I was like on my way out already and I said "Thanks mate!" Before I could like process myself fast enough telling him "dude, they aren't just pants but shorts and tights!" Hahaha!
Welcome to the 32nd edition of Weekly Vibe!! Firstly I wanna wish the Fathers Happy Fathers' Day! I just made a realisation that the ActivSkin A866 tights are really awesome as if you guys might know, I wore the A866 for the National Vertical Marathon last Sunday and I just totally noticed that I didn't have leg cramps at all! I mean wow.. I climbed 40 stories! The A866 are really awesome for sports, you can read my review on the A866 here.

Weekly Vibe #31
Hi Creative and Fashionable people!
Welcome to the 31st edition of Weekly Vibe! I hope you all had a great week! I had a great weekend this week! It started off for me being at one of the World of Tanks event at the Wargaming Command Centre, to my amusement, they actually sent the media team from St Petersburg, Russia to film for the 15th anniversary for Wargaming and I decided to say hi to them in Russian and they moment the ladies saw me, they were all over me!! Well because I was wearing one of the FPS Russia shirts "Professional Russian" and they start snapping photos of me and with me! Hahaha! Oh and obviously of course, I was spotting a Cette Dublin opaque tights which was sent to me by PantyhoseHQ with my shorts of course! Anyways for some funny reason, I was like the object of attention to the Russians as they just kept filming me playing World Of Tanks and some random moments! They even got me to "act" playing World of Tanks and having bunch of "calefares" acting with me "supporting" me whilst playing. Hahaha! What a day Saturday!
Sunday was also the day I had to go for the National Vertical Marathon, which I registered a few months back! It was my second time doing a Vertical Marathon, the last time was a 40 storey housing estate and this time it was a 41 storey office building.
It was indeed quite an enduring time I had for about 20 minutes(I guess?) climbing the 41 stories as I didn't have anything to eat at all in the morning and I just had a small cup of 100 Plus before the climb, as compared to the 40 storey climb I did with the housing estate, this one felt like a 50 storey climb as there were more steps for each level. Reaching the finishing line for me was an ecstatic yet contented feeling with very intense panting and pespiration, getting the medal was probably the best feeling I had knowing that I have finally completed it! Really a big thanks to Activskin's A866 full support tights that really helped me perform! You can click here to read a review of the A866. These are indeed awesome sports tights!
I'm actually looking forward to doing the 73 storey SwissĂ´tel Vertical Marathon in November this year!
Tights does indeed play a partnership role in most of the things I do, be it for fun or for sports! That's all I have for you all this week!

In Focus: Gatta 100 Rosalia Opaque Tights
Hi Creative and Fashionable people!
Today we will be taking a deeper look into the Gatta Rosalia 100den Opaque tights!
A little background information about Gatta, it is owned by Polish based company and was established in 1993. They are also currently one of the biggest and most modern factories in Europe. They produce a range of products such as fashion, medical, wedding, classic, children, shape wear tights and stockings, swimwear and undergarments for both genders.
The Gatta Rosalia 100 represents as one of their classic style line of tights, they are packaged with a cardboard slip with a cellophane pack which I usually wouldn't dispose of as I would reuse them for storing the tights that came with them. I ordered 3 pairs, one in XL and L in black and L in dark grey.
First feel of these tights are that they feel soft and silky for both L & XL ones, XL on the legs are really long, very generous on sizing, with a rear comfort panel, the L sized one fits just right as they actually stretched pretty well, the seams are conventional but not flat.
However for the L ones while I had them on for awhile, walking and running for a bit, waistband started dropping and I could feel them riding down my thighs and uncomfortably feeling my inner thighs making contact which was pretty unpleasant.. I had to pull them from time to time in the Gents, and trust me that they are up above my navel, a few explanations of why they probably went down was maybe perhaps I were wearing spandex material undershorts which probably caused the tights to slip down. However I had no problems with the XL sized pair. I have to say that I really enjoyed having them on.
Opacity overage on these are 90% all around but with the bent legs at the kneecap, fabric stretches about 65% opacity. There are also a slight shine on the legs, more matte than gloss.
There is one slight inaccuracy to the product description, as it says that it is sheer to waist, unfortunately it isn't entirely true, as you can see in the picture below that you can actually see a very subtle line that marks a reinforced brief, well I got no complains with that honestly.
I decided for the future reviews, I will be rating the products in stars with features of Comfort, Compression, Durability, Opacity, Shine, Price
Comfort: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Compression: 0 out of 5 stars (these aren't support tights)
Durability: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Opacity: 4 out of 5 stars
Shine: 3 out of 5 stars
Price: 5 out of 5 stars
Here are some styles I have come out with for the tights.
Nero (Black):
Price: 5.00GBP (Wardrobe Direct)
Material Content: Polyamide 95% Lycra 5%
Sizes: 2, 3 ,4 ,5 or (S, M, L & XL)
Colours: Grafit , Nero & Purple
Pros: Very economical (itsocks pricing was 4.99 GBP and wardrobe direct at 5.00 GBP) durable, Very suitable fit for men of a taller height & warm & stretchy.
Cons: Not many online hosiery stores carry Gatta, limited availbilty & limited colours.
In conclusion, I really like the Gatta Rosalia 100 tights, If you're looking for a pair of economical tights to start with or even just something new to try, these are absolutely the ones to get!
