Weekly Vibe #94

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 94th edition of Weekly Vibe! Just in case you guys haven't realised, in about 4 days' time it will be Legwear Fashion For Men's 2nd year anniversary! The coolest thing is that we are going to roll out with something special once again for our readers so stay tuned on the 4th of September!!

This week was a little hard for me as I had so much work and extras from work too and my personally my Papa on Wednesday this week went for a major surgery to remove 2 tumours from his liver, but thank Jesus! The surgery was a success and he in fact is having a very speedy divine recovery and is expected to discharge in about 2-3 days' time! We are praying and hoping that the tumours weren't cancerous.I have faith that isn't as my Papa generally leads a very healthy lifestyle, vegetarian diet and exercises often.

Interestingly I also noticed that the nurses also put on compression stockings for my Papa as he had to be on the bed for many days so he had to keep the blood in his legs well circulated. Ha! Looks like he might just start wearing tights! Below is a picture of the kind of stockings he wore.

Recently I just watched a dated video about Men wearing tights on a UK TV show named "the Wright Stuff" it was overall a very light-hearted programme on the subject of men wearing tights, check it out below! Enjoy!

The peeps at Tightsplease are having a Flash sale 50% for a week on their Cette fashion tights!

I believe there are definitely sometimes our fashion forward men can try out! Check it out here!

That's all I have for you all! And look forward for our 2nd anniversary post!

Stripped patterned footless tights or leggings? For a moment I was thinking Disney themed Hans Andersen's Fairy tales! Hahaha! Guys what do you think? Yes as you can that these are product pictures of these unisex footless tights and here are some more photos

These striped tights go for $22.83 at Rakuten Global Market, check them out!

I honestly think these would go well with more colourful outfits as they compliment each other better. What do you think?

Weekly Vibe #93

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #93! I am pretty sure that you have noticed that Tightsplease has got a revamped website and boy was it really nice! But what I realised was that the subcategory of "Men" in the "Tights" category and so I decided to write into them about that it and waiting for a reply. Meanwhile they are having very attractive discounts!

For Pretty Polly click here

For Aristoc click here

For Charnos click here

Steve Katz, ActivSkin posted up their monthly newsletter A535 Microfabric Light support sheer pantyhose, to be honest I am not a very huge fan of sheer pantyhose due to its durability factor but hey Steve has worn his pair for over 20 times! They are on clearance sale going at US$8.99 a note the medium size of all colours and large tan are still on clearance sale(older stock) and the rest are all new stock.

I also just noticed that it's just about a week plus more that we are celebrating our 2nd year anniversary of Legwear Fashion For Men! Stay tuned for special news!

Outfit of the Week #49

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to OOTW #49! And this week we are having this outfit featured!

Chan Kraemer rocking in his white opaques
Well well it's our Godfather Chan Kraemer once again! "White tights? Aren't they supposed to be for the little girls who do ballet!?" I would have said that myself! But hey Chan Kraemer doesn't care! The plaid patterned shirt just gives it a pretty autumn feel? Autumn feels to me like plaids, checks and tartan. And hey that is when mostly people wear tights to feel warmer as it's getting colder already. The colour combination is feel is kinda interesting, I do not know what Chan wanted to show here, if you are a guy who is shy about getting people staring at your legs, white opaques will definitely not help you a lot, with the off white cargo shorts he is wearing, if he was going to wear black opaques, he would definitely get more attention, but if you want to be "camouflaged" or at least look properly "coloured" you could maybe try red opaques? I think it will look pretty good!

White tights? Yes or no?

Weekly Vibe #92

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 92nd edition of Weekly Vibe! For this week there is a hosiery vendor I would like to feature. Trendylegs has recently followed our blog's Twitter account @LegwearFash4Men and I decided to take a look at their website and I wasn't disappointed at all!

What makes them really unique unlike the typical hosiery online retailer is that you would never find any pair of plain looking tights in their site because they store only uniquely hand printed patterned fashion tights, and right here are some of their products they carry!

I'm really very interested in Trendylegs, I'm actually really considering getting one of their tights for my own progressive fashion styling as inspired by Chan Kraemer. I'm really hoping that I'm able to interview TrendyLegs and perhaps if possible review some samples. This is one really unique online hosiery retailer that does not just end there by selling their products but their products are backed up with very nice styles that can be done with their tights with professionally done photos like these:

Awesome stuff from Trendylegs! And that's all I have for you all, have a great coming week ahead!

Outfit of the Week #48

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 48th edition of OOTW! This week we have this!

Wow! I have to say it's really one bold statement! I actually did want to try one of these patterned tights but I found them a little too loud, I'd probably only do it if I have a very bold coloured top so my tights get muted instead of standing out. But hey if Chan can so can YOU! These tights look like one of Jonathan Aston's Lightning Tights

Patterned tights like this, yes or no? Or should I say, will you try them?

Weekly Vibe #91

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 91st edition of Weekly Vibe! Firstly I wanna say Happy Birthday to my Daddy!

This week also marked the 49th Independence of Singapore!(Where I live of course)

I was really glad I had a Saturday off(Finally!) because National Day was on a Saturday woohoo!

Anyways I would to feature one of our good friends Rob "Speedking"'s blog and he recently uploaded a video on why he wore pantyhose and you can watch it below here

It is not a hosiery blog but a blog mostly on the happenings of his life and I really liked the video he did! Kudos to you bro! (I feel weird using the term "Mantyhose" too) Hahaha!

Apart from that I don't think I have good relevant discounts and recommendations for this week from the vendors, perhaps next week!

Outfit of the Week #47

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 47th edition of OOTW! This week we have this!

This look is braved by the "Godfather" of Men's hosiery fashion Chan Kraemer with one of Emilio Cavallini's cult edition Stars tights. You just can't fault Chan Kraemer in his outfits and all of the outfits he does have gone through considerable fashionable decisions. He is meticulous about the right coloured shoes, right coloured clothes and even accessories! You can't go wrong with Godfather Chan Kraemer! I really want Emilio Cavallini's tights!

Weekly Vibe #90

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Wow it's already the 90th Weekly Vibe I actually can't believe that we went through 90 Weekly Vibe posts together! Time really flies and it's already August!

I recently found myself really interested in WWII era Soviet militaria and kitted up with an NKVD outfit based on the 10th NKVD Rifle Division of Stalingrad. As you know I'm quite a WWII history geek, after having Nazi German and Imperial Japanese outfits, I'd thought I get myself a Soviet one too here are some photos!

Hahahaha! I can't resist laughing at this shot I did!
Okay enough with the kiddy stuff above, now for what we actually do in this blog! Wolford has recently released their new styles for this year's Autumn - Winter collection. UK Tights and TightsTightsTights has recently started stocking up these new styles!

Whether if it's for yourself or your special one, these new styles are really worth the look! Check it out here and here Oh you really have to check out the Wolford Zip Tights

Here is a closeup of the faux zip, and they actually shine!! Wow!

Well that's all I have for you! Have a great coming week and an awesome month of August!

You'd probably find this kind of outfit on the fashion runways. I am not telling you to try this kind of outfit because this is a really "out of comfort zone" for most guys, I probably would try this once..and that's about it.
