Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #170! Finally my lacrosse gloves have arrived!!! I have been so short of finger protection as I was doing my own saber training sessions with my friends and my fingers are always taking a lot of beating in our dueling sessions!

I was pretty late for this post as I got a pretty bad cut on my thumb and it hindered me quite a fair bit and affected my mood as well but it's getting better so here I am writing. Anyways reading through my email I found out a terrible news from StockingsHQ and here it goes..

Sadly Tightsplease, MyTights and alexblake are no more, I still remember Tightsplease sent me my very first pair of tights for winning the Mantyhose retweet post.. :( And I thought it was just Singaporean retail industry was doing horrible even online hosiery businesses are badly affected.. the last business I would want to see fold is UK Tights which is really a good friend for me at least! 

Well anyways moving ahead with better news Pretty Polly and Aristoc have new products and UK Tights has them stocked up!

Weekly Vibe #165

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #165! The past week was one I really looked forward too because it was my birthday on Saturday! And I had such an awesome time with my family on a Friday Night birthday and a Saturday with my friends at a Karaoke club!

I'm feel so blessed to have such family and friends in my life! 

Earlier the same week, I met up with Wong who passed the sheer tights I got him to help me buy from Taiwan, collection complete!

I really wouldn't know these would fit! Fingers crossed! 

Fans of Charnos Satin 50 Tights are in for a treat! Because our friends at UK Tights is having a special promo of Buy one pair and the next pair at 1/2 the price!(7.99GBP a pair)

These have great reviews with majority ratings at 5 stars with most reviews stating that these produce a nice shine and not overly shiny.

Review on this tights from one reviewer mentioned that though knitting didn't make these pair of tights feel soft on touch but will withstand quite a lot of abuse over time.

Reviews on these tights are largely great at 5 stars mostly revealed that these are well made and durable, most are very pleased with its practicality and aesthetics of these tights.

Reviews on these are quite mixed, positive reviews are that these sheer hose give a good shine and gives a look on the legs, negative reviews are that they are prone to laddering(I suggest picking a right size and put on some gloves when wearing them to remedy this issue)

People living in Singapore are really taking a beating from the high temperatures that average from 33 to 34 degrees celsius during the day and night temperatures are averaging at 27-28 degrees celsius, I still haven't stopped wearing tights however I would mostly wear them after work in the evening to get to gym/saber training or during the day, I'd make sure I was mostly in the air-conditioned comfort of a shopping mall.... gosh I wished I was back in the cold climate of Taiwan again haha!

Weekly Vibe #157

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #157! Sorry for the lack of posting last week, I was tied down with studio location and other things like... Star Wars : The Force Awakens! I managed to catch it early on the 16th December on the premiere (Note that Singapore is 12+ hours ahead of the US timing) And needless to say of course I took the opportunity to dress up! I was also invited to attend in other Star Wars related events and here are some photos!

At the metro station, someone saw me in this get up and wanted a photo with me!

Weekly Vibe #151

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #151! I had to do a late night writing as I had work today(Monday) which I usually don't. Oh boy it's already November!? Damn! Each day is ending quicker each time when we are nearing the end of the year it seems! Last week we got pretty intense for our lightsaber battles and I got my 2nd finger on my right hand hurt bad, contact on that finger would hurt quite a bit but yes I would like to share the lightsaber staff battle I did on the 25th October(I also did one yesterday too but the video isn't uploaded yet)

I'm still pretty new at this concept of fighting with this, as you can clearly see I'm wearing black opaque tights here, no one really cares.. well perhaps because it's black? Well I did have one or two asking me why I wear them and I answer them, I like the support on my legs and I'm used to having my legs concealed as well adds to that "Sith" feel. Lol!

I totally missed out on Halloween but we celebrated a fellow lightsaberist friend's birthday and had lotsa fun shooting nerf guns(and with our lightsabers of course!) and got him a special Star Wars First Order trooper nerf blaster!

Always nice to put a smile on a friend's face!

I have been preparing for my cosplay on Star Wars' premiere day, and yes you don't need to guess what I'm going to be.. I'm going to be a Sith Lord based on Star Wars The Old Republic and I'm just short of a few things I'm good!

Weekly Vibe #148

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #148! Alas the haze is gradually dissipating but still there! I managed to do some upcoming Street Legwear Fashion post photos! I was so looking forward to do them after so long!(And really long overdue!)


With October being here that also means Halloween is coming and as we all know hosiery is going to be so widely used as an accessory in various costumes! I could think up of so many! 

And here are some cool ones I found over the internet!

Well sadly I'm not really a Halloween person however I still do like to dress up in different costumes!

Weekly Vibe #146

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #146! Sorry for not posting last week as I was coping with a personal problem hence I decided to push it to be done later. The past week and the coming week for anyone living Singapore and neighbouring regions are not having it great, most of us are either coughing, having sore eyes from the horrible haze, lessons in schools have to be cancelled, people are encouraged to stay indoors and if heading to the outdoors have to be wearing N95 grade respirators and this how it looked 4 days ago!

It's fine if it's some fog but it's actually smoke from burning forests in Indonesia, well how it got to be this bad? I'm not going to talk about it because it's going to get political and I don't wish to get political about things on this blog. But I really hope things do get done so I can quickly get out and do my Street Legwear Fashion posts without wearing a respirator! But hey I still did something!

Last week when the air was better I slipped on of the my favourite tights which UK Tights sent to me as one of our anniversary gifts!

Man the Tiffany Quinn Sheer Front Stripe tights are really awesomely cool! I do look forward to doing a Street Legwear Fashion look soon with these really spiffy looking tights!

And seems like Autumn is here and another phase of hosiery frenzy is here! Autumn has to be one of the most interesting seasons for hosiery as the climate is just perfect, you aren't shivering in cold but you can still feel comfy with a coat on and of course a nice pair of autumn tights! Hosiery designers during the autumn season come up with many great designs and here is a little trend check so far from some of the big hosiery retailers have also started selling them too! 

UK Tights have started selling new Oroblu, Le Bourget and Girardi Autumn series!

Wow and if you know me probably by now what really caught my attention are Girardi Genevieve Tights I don't know about you but they just look so cool!

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have problems pulling this style off!
