Weekly Vibe #158

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Happy New Year and this is 2016's first Weekly Vibe! As you might have read that I was in on a holiday to Taiwan and Vietnam and I just got back a few days ago! If you have followed my Instagram you would have seen many of the photos I shared, if you haven't here are some photos!

While I was commuting in Kaohsiung's metro system I noticed that they have got a special anime mascot for marketing and man I could helping but drool.. and yes I do love anime girls.. Hahaha! Too bad they aren't real..

And of course the mascot train driver just had to wear black tights with her outfit! Hahaha!

And needless to say in my time in Kaohsiung and Hanoi it was no surprise to find the local women in tights and hosiery and the guys in leggings too! That's an awesome sight to be honest!When I was in Taiwan I checked out one of their special lifestyle shops called "POYA" which also sells a huge range of hosiery literally hundreds of them with Taiwanese made and China made brands and guess what? They got a special men's section too! 

I was really peeling my eyes for water and wind resistant tights which one of our readers have suggested and I have featured as well and finally after 30 mins of searching and not looking awkward to the female shoppers near me, I found them and I took 6 pairs leaving just 1 pair left on the shelf.. Hahaha!

They sell pretty cheap too! Like US$4 a pair and how could I resist? I will be doing a special review on this soon! 4 pairs for me and the 2 other pairs for friends! :)

Needless to say I really enjoyed myself in Taiwan! I spent one night in Hanoi and I enjoyed the nice coffee and bread along with some very exotic food!

Had lovely beef Pho, fried worm-like stuff and barbecued quail! Interesting indeed!

I'd totally go back to Taiwan again and again during winter! Totally miss Taiwan even now!

January seems like a great time for sale and looks almost every online hosiery retailers are doing that and check out UK Tights doing a January sale at up to 80% off with over 150 products!

Weekly Vibe #132

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #132! This week was pretty fruitful for me as I carried on with my conversation on the subject of legwear with our Malaysian friend named "Wong" and on Saturday another Malaysian friend started contact me as well! Looks like I'm really forced to improve my mandarin!!

Wong has introduced something really unique and truly pretty out of this world... Waterproof tights!

I went to the link which the video suggested and after trying my best to read traditional mandarin which I wasn't taught as a child I found the link on the Taiwan online shopping site!

These are 80 denier that gives a 110 denier opaque look, they have support properties for the calf area of the legs, they also "breathe" well and they stretch really really well as seen in the video, I like the fact that there is a gusset as well, good for durability! It also appears that the waterproof properties is the result of German engineering. Woot!

Regular size : Hip = 85cm-110cm Height = 150-180cm

Add on size : Hip = 90cm-115cm Height = 155-185cm

They come in black, navy blue and grey.

Best news is that they currently cost 149NTD which happens to be only 3.14GBP or 4.79USD a pair! Woot! I really want a pair NOW... but looks like I have to see if they even ship overseas and I hope they do after I get my head around reading traditional mandarin! Trust me the google translator gave me bad translations.. 

A few days ago I made a few orders with UK Tights, I got myself a Golden Lady 60 denier tights 2PP in Medium/Large for myself and Tiffany Quinn Kiss Kiss for my girlfriend!

I also for the first time ordered from Zohara, an Israeli based hosiery company that also makes their own unique line of fashion tights, though however I ordered an Emilio Cavallini product well because their site was down and I got were these!

I'm really looking forward to having these when they come to prepare for the next Street Legwear Fashion! To be really honest with you, wearing those Spiral tights will be a real challenge for me I feel.. Hahaha! 

Anyways talking about fashion tights.. UK Tights have started selling new Tiffany Quinn fashion tights and leggings not forgetting as well new Silky leggings and footlets!

Best part! I have been really looking forward to the Tiffany Quinn Sheer Front Stripe Tights and they are here!!! AWWWWWWWWWWWW YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! 

Don't they just look so cool!? Man!!! Would like to get 2 pairs! One for my girlfriend and the other for me! Heh! I'm so looking forward to the coming week as I believe the tights I ordered would be here soon! :)

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #116! Time really flies here we are at the 2nd week of February already! February has got to be one of my favourite months(Valentine's Day, Lunar New Year and my birthday!)

Personally I'm still having a mild withdrawal symptoms after arriving back from my holiday trip in Taiwan... which is not wanting to work and continue enjoy shopping, eating and relaxing in Taiwan! Gosh I really missed Taiwan! :(

A few days ago I picked up my order of LM Glow Tights from the Post Office!

And yes I picked out 5 pairs! These are great tights as reviewed by our friend Hosiery For Men so do consider getting one of them or at least a few of them! :)

Weekly Vibe #115

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #115! I finally came back from Taiwan and I really enjoyed myself thoroughly!! And to be honest, I really wished I could just stay there!! I was there for about a good 1 week! It was winter Taiwan but it was too cold either, coldest was about 12 degrees celsius or so and of course it was good opportunity to wear my tights!!! At first I was a little hesitant as I wasn't travelling alone but with my co-workers of whom most were females and only 3 males, me, my boss and his 2 plus year old son. Interestingly I didn't really get much comments, just some giggles but was later quickly forgotten as they got used to it! Anyways here are some photos to share!

Of course I have shot more and you can see all of my Taiwan trip photos on my Instagram! If you haven't been to Taiwan I really highly recommend going there for at least a week! And for a guy who like hosiery, you will not be disappointed when you're there during the colder months, you'd find many beautiful Taiwanese women pairing their outfits with tights and even sheer black pantyhose! It's truly eye candy for hosiery connoisseurs and I definitely want to go back again for holiday! At a personal level I'm glad that I'm able to up my courage to wear my tights with shorts in front of my colleagues too! It's a huge boost of morale to be honest!
