Welcome to 166th edition of Weekly Vibe! This week has been quite an interesting one, on the side of my saber training, we relocated to the 100 Plus Promenade as our current location was under construction work but the relocation was rather short-lived as although it may be a public space, the security personnel decided otherwise claiming that our lightsabers are seen to be dangerous and could hurt joggers and other users....(when in fact the people on their electric scooters and segways are not considered to be hazardous... seriously?) but we did get to practice a little and took some nice photos though..

Today I took a dip to try a pair of the V. Vienna black sheers I got from Taiwan to go shopping around town and though as much as I thought I would expect weird looks I didn't really get any!!! Hahaha dang!

Earlier today on a Monday I was out doing some Lunar New Year clothing shopping, it's a Chinese custom to shop for new clothes on a New Year and I got myself some new threads from H&M! :) Oh right we took this really cool photo on the previous Sunday!

To be honest what attracted me were the functions they look almost virtually indestructible! Coupled that I'm also wanting to try out Asian hosiery brands as well. In fact I'm actually starting to notice the difference in culture when it comes to hosiery made from Asian nations versus European, US and Eastern ones. I will be forming up my opinion on hosiery manufacturer culture when I do get to try Eastern brands like Giulia.

Happy New Year and this is 2016's first Weekly Vibe! As you might have read that I was in on a holiday to Taiwan and Vietnam and I just got back a few days ago! If you have followed my Instagram you would have seen many of the photos I shared, if you haven't here are some photos!
While I was commuting in Kaohsiung's metro system I noticed that they have got a special anime mascot for marketing and man I could helping but drool.. and yes I do love anime girls.. Hahaha! Too bad they aren't real.. Enter this..
And of course the mascot train driver just had to wear black tights with her outfit! Hahaha! And needless to say in my time in Kaohsiung and Hanoi it was no surprise to find the local women in tights and hosiery and the guys in leggings too! That's an awesome sight to be honest!When I was in Taiwan I checked out one of their special lifestyle shops called "POYA" which also sells a huge range of hosiery literally hundreds of them with Taiwanese made and China made brands and guess what? They got a special men's section too!
I was really peeling my eyes for water and wind resistant tights which one of our readers have suggested and I have featured as well and finally after 30 mins of searching and not looking awkward to the female shoppers near me, I found them and I took 6 pairs leaving just 1 pair left on the shelf.. Hahaha!
They sell pretty cheap too! Like US$4 a pair and how could I resist? I will be doing a special review on this soon! 4 pairs for me and the 2 other pairs for friends! :) Here is a introduction video to it if you haven't seen it!

Needless to say I really enjoyed myself in Taiwan! I spent one night in Hanoi and I enjoyed the nice coffee and bread along with some very exotic food!
Had lovely beef Pho, fried worm-like stuff and barbecued quail! Interesting indeed!
I'd totally go back to Taiwan again and again during winter! Totally miss Taiwan even now!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #140! As you probably have guessed this week was a week of celebration for Singaporeans as we have reached our 50th year of independence! As for most Singaporeans including myself we were out celebrating most of the time with the long weekend holidays! Personally for me for Saturday and Sunday I finally started my lightsaber duel training! Here is my lightsaber! :D
It was really good fun! Learning how to duel with a lightsaber which also helps to teach how to defend yourself if you well... don't have a lightsaber but have a stick in hand. Hahaha! Welcome to Weekly Vibe #131!! June is here! That means we are half way through 2015! Wow!! This week was pretty interesting I was engaged in a long friendly conversation with Mandarin speaking men who wear tights as well, actually I hardly speak Mandarin Chinese as I converse in mostly English and Russian with my Russian teacher, what makes it harder was that I had to type in Mandarin and that's like even challenging as I had to remember once again how certain Mandarin words meant, you may have same sounding words but they mean totally different and each word sound differently too. If you learnt or know Mandarin you would know what I mean!
One of them you probably might know is from China, who was featured on Hosiery For Men beforee and he is an avid fan of Wolford tights and he is none another than Wu Xiao Jie!
Another friend hails from Malaysia and just works in Singapore too! I'm really hoping to meet him some day for a chat! Sharp look and reminiscent of the 18th century mens fashion; a tunic, breeches and stockings. I remember of the days when men wore sheer socks under their sharp suits, well I am not too sure if he were wearing sheer tights or socks but looks to me some form of tights, they look exactly like these:
