Welcome to Weekly Vibe #153! Sorry the really late post, as you might have read on my Twitter post, I spent most of the Monday queuing at Shaw House for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere tickets! I get to watch them on the 17th of December! More than 12 hours earlier than US! WOOHOO! 

But the coolest part isn't all just that! There were journalists that interviewed me and my fellow lightsaberists and we were featured on the local newspaper! Check it out!

I'm at the right side, half of face covered though.. LOL

You could read what's written there "Mr Andreas Loh, 27, joined the queue at 1:15pm and Mr Alexander Choong, 24, at 2pm. They both had their lightsabers. "Every Sunday, we join The Saber Authority where we attend Combat Saber training programmes," said Mr Loh. "We use real fighting techniques but with lightsabers as our weapons." He also said he and his friends were planning to dress up as Star Wars characters for the premiere. He plans to go as a Sith Lord." 

COOL!!!!

I'm 90% done with preparing for my Sith Lord impression for the big day! I was planning on wearing the Silky leather look leggings under my legwraps or black maxi skirt if you like... Hahaha! which UK Tights sent to me previously!

Weekly Vibe #145

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #145! The haze in Singapore is getting really bad!

What you are seeing isn't cloudy or rainy clouds or even fog but it's caused by forest fires down south likely in Indonesia. You could smell something burning in the air and this doesn't just affect Singapore but also neighbouring countries, it makes going outdoors to be quite unhealthy, I only recovered from a bad cough recently.

However that didn't deter me and my friends to go for STGCC 2015!

Once again I went in the Red Army NKVD officer outfit with my friend bob! 

Look who's here? Amos Yee who really wanted a photo with me, he is infamously famous for his disrespectful comments of the state and the late founding father of Singapore. Well who am I to reject? Just be friendly!

Cosplay is always fun as you get to so many things! The awesome toys and the awesome cosplay guys and of course the girls!

Next year I'm planning something very different... which I won't reveal here yet I guess. Kinda wanna do something different than just military stuff.

Weekly Vibe #43

Hi Creative & Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 43rd edition of Weekly Vibe! I hope you all had a great week! I had a great Sunday as it was STGCC! Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention! It is a convention held every year, and I went ahead cosplaying a WWII era German Panzer Commander, I was there with a few of my friends and it was really fun! One thing one could notice in a cosplay related event is that you would spotted many outfits worn with hosiery! From knee highs, thigh highs to tights and you see them worn by both genders! 

Most of my time spent there was being a model for people to be photographed! And boy is it tiring to be a model! Hahaha! Oh well I too did snap some shots! Well I wasn't too interested with the other cosplaying girls though... And I really didn't know why.. Just prolly not in the mood for them lol!

Weekly Vibe #35

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 35th edition of Weekly Vibe!! I hope you all had a great week as I did! This week marked the end of my reservice military tour of duty for the year and we ended it with a prawn fishing or prawning event and boy was it really fun to fish for prawns! I was really glad that at least I managed to catch 3 pretty decent sized prawns or shrimps some of you people call it!

After catching them they went straight to the barbecue pit!

Oh boy did these taste great and really fresh too!

On Saturday I went for a cosplay event dressed up as a WWII Panzer NCO with my other fellow "German" soldiers and it was fun meeting other cosplayers and the pretty girls of course! Hahaha!

I also took some fun photos of my friends in their gear:

Sunday was probably the highlight for me as least because my Church was going back to our home at Suntec City! Yay! Another awesome thing is that my journey is a lot shorter! Hallelujah! :)

Weekly Vibe #29

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

It's Weekly Vibe again and it's the 29th installment!! This week was indeed pretty neat for me! I was really pleasantly surprised by Legwear International for the samples I have received on Wednesday! I'm still in the midst of planning how to match my clothes with the sheers and some of the sheer patterned tights they have sent me, indeed really challenging to me but I'm really excited!! 

Friday was a public holiday and I was invited for a World of Tanks party event at a friend's place with my fellow clan members, we had a lot of fun, booze, food and games!

I met up some friends again on Saturday for some games and met up my good friend Alvin and he suggested having a photo of me as we were both wearing black! And obviously I'm the guy with the legwear!

I also had a lot of pain and joy as I finally received my shipment of my Panzer uniform insignias and I had to hand stitch them... I broke 2 needles and got my finger tips sore along with a nip from the needle on finger too but it was really worth the pain because here is how I look!

I'm intending to do a cosplay for this uniform I got! 

Recently I came into contact with a form of art called Kigurumi, but specifically Anime Kigurumi or Animegao(doller) which is essentially dressing up as an anime character but not just dressing up as them but also having their faces, which is aided with a kigurumi mask. Anyways this is how it looks like.

I felt that it would be pretty interesting and exciting to be portraying as one of these, gives me an art trip, sort of like tickling a person's funny bone as tickling my artistic bone. Some see it as a fetish due to the zentai suit one has to wear, and its crossdressing elements. Well I take it as a challenge and something new, it's also challenge to me as I have to go through radical physical body changes.. like working out extra so I could look better and leaner. Kigurumi Cosplaying is something really unique and is a closely knitted and yet secretive community due to the fact that Kigurumi cosplayers would never unmask in the presence of the public and keep shrouded about their real identity. Well I'm pretty straight upfront of wanting to do this, I mean come on.. I'm wearing hosiery proud and free, my friends and family embrace my fashion choices. Instead of saying "Why", I'd say.. "Why not!?" and asking me "Why?" again will lead me to saying, "because I can! and I'm rising up to the occasion being myself!" Why try to be other people when you are unique? Take a deep thought about it..
