Interesting use of colour here! Yellow and Black are always a great combination to outfits, the inner wear of the model are pretty conservative with black coloured top and bottoms, black opaque tights, interesting looking glasses and a nice yellow coat, he does spot really interesting looking shoes!



You can see all the pictures on his blog site and he is definitely sporting full length tights, not leggings! Big thumbs up to him!

Ahh.. couple wear with tights! I'm certain that most guys who have the "Nylon Gene" would love to have their significant others to wear tights with them! Both of them are draped in simple clothes and I think it's fine! I think they both have great legs! It would be really nice to see celebrities couples doing this too because seriously there is any way to go about starting a trend is with them too!

Welcome to the 100th Outfit of the Week! I can't believe I have featured 100 outfits already! This week we are looking at this! 

This outfit was featured on Men Wearing Tights Under Shorts

This outfit was put up together by Issey Miyake, the pattern on the shirt is pretty interesting it looks like a smaller black shirt inside, and in a white backdrop he looks smaller, very interesting optical illusion! Nice white sneakers he has on. His above the knee shorts are fine to me but I understand not all men would dare to go that short, trying capri length shorts can be a good start as well. 

However I really believe in going all the way but of course not all the way like that... Hahaha! Yeah nice legs I totally agree.

Welcome to Outfit of the Week #82! This week we are featuring one of our brave guys Jared again!

This series was titled "Prom" and wow he is actually really wearing that!! I find it really cute actually with the shorts, the baseball cap and the huge bow he has on his neck! Hey +Eugene Wong what say you about this outfit? Hahaha! You probably say.. "Hey! That's my idea!" I know I have posted up something about formal suit, shorts and tights but that kinda looked more formal whereas Jared made this look a little more casual with the cap and the furry looking shorts here. I personally think this outfit is do-able, it's actually reminiscent of the 18th century look and so why not?

Did I say it was a prom? Yes of course and here is his prom partner!

I will try this one when I get the opportunity to and I will take a photo to share!

Outfit of the Week #44

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 44th edition of Outfit of the Week! This week we are featuring an article on NYmag.com as shared by Dougaa on Lauf forums. 

It was titled "Tights Are Coming Soon To Men's Legs Near You" written by Leah Rodriguez, this article was very optimistic and in favour of men sporting tights(or leggings) as part of their clothing choice, as mentioned by the author, it is very common to see athletic tights paired with shorts in athletic clothing styles but a small number of men are starting or have already started wearing tights under their shorts whilst not going for a workout. 

As you can see below, NBA player Russell Westbrook sporting a pair of leggings by Barneys and Jordan going at $165 a pair..

The article also featured other fashion designers with their outfits with leggings/tights, though it looks a little too outlandish for your everyday wear but these designs help people to think bigger and have their own styles, here are some photos from the slideshow:

Yes yes I know it is another black based outfit, but the best part is I noticed that it is actually probably BEN V's time wearing tights with shorts! And I feel really happy and proud of him! And if you explored his other looks, they are all the cool average joe looks. I really like his Adidas shoes he got on, it gave him the sporty footballer look, heck I think he looks like one of the German Footballers anyways! But hey I'm sure you guys got some black top, shorts, belts and one of those sport shoes lying around, try it out!

I believe Suit + Short + Tights has been a look I know my friend Hosiery Advocate aka +Eugene Wong is championing and I gotta admit that I was kinda skeptical but I gotta admit that Roger here looks pretty cool here, albeit not the Barney Stinson sharp look but more of the fashion runway look here, I'm sure we have a suit hung up in our wardrobes and some shorts too, I felt the white T-shirt was quite okay, it kinda fits the clean white lace up sneakers. I might try this look someday.. would you?

My biggest fan has got to be Martan, a brave guy who wears tights with his outfits! I really like his shoes here. You could probably go for a different coloured pair of shorts if you don't like the extra attention due to the virtue that a bright coloured shorts like that will immediately fix a person's eyes to your shorts. I'd probably go for something similar but with a black shorts or something of a darker shade. Try it out people!

Once again we feature the Lookbooker Martan, in some ways I actually see a similarity of styles we both possess. This week's outfit we see Martan sporting in a black long sleeved sweater and a pair of printed bermuda shorts and a pair of low cut boots and he accessorised with a clutch as well. I believe this is one look most men are able to find in their wardrobe with probably the exception of the clutch. Well you really could do without the clutch if you find it a bother. Generally I find this look quite sleek and I'm sure you guys can try it this coming week!

First impression when I saw this photo was... "Wow! Nice hairdo and facial hair bro!! And you guys know how masculine looking facial like that looks and not to mention that it shows a form of seniority and maturity. I have been having feedbacks from readers that tell me that "Nahh the outfits you show wouldn't fit us, they are mostly for the young!" Well here is something for you gents out there! Nice blazer and shirt he got on and then came the really exotic looking shorts, black opaque tights or leggings and high cut sneakers spotting both the mature and the young at the same time! And if you got that kind of hair and facial hair, why not try something like this for this weekend? Let me know about it!

Outfit of the Week #3

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Today for OOTW we have this outfit!

This photo was from this Flickriver site(I got no intent of stealing or whatsoever) The caption was this "A young man dressed in high fashion--a leather jacket, short shorts, and black tights. Tights for men and boys are not unusual in urban Russian settings."

Firstly I do really like the look minus the cigarette(bad for your health mate!) This look is pretty androgynous I have to say though and not every men can I say can pull off this look, you do somehow have his kind of legs, I would really recommend those short shorts, but one has thunder thighs, I really recommend against that because it would magnify your size further, instead you could try the same on the top section but pair them with slightly longer black shorts or darker coloured ones. Those boots are pretty nice actually, it certainly does give a biker look which I find pretty cool!

Weekly Vibe #10

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome once again to Legwear Fashion For Men's Weekly Vibe! This week felt pretty slow for me, especially for the work week, but thank God somehow I managed to "pull through" the week, I'm always looking forward to the weekends like any other working adults. After taking up the leadership role of Commander in my World Of Tanks clan, I found myself having more commitments and responsibilities to my clan tank commanders to lead them to excellence and empowerment. Well with this aside, my passion for Legwear still keeps the same! My budget has been pretty tight lately and I haven't bought any hose for the month of January, in fact being a fan of FPSRussia on Youtube, I actually bought myself one of his shirts with the slogan "PROFESSIONAL RUSSIAN" and also being a huge fan of Epic Meal Time, I'm actually gonna buy myself some of their T-shirts and maybe a sweater!

Today I wore my Bottlegreen Charnos 80 den opaques to service, I actually really liked the look, I matched them with a blue green checkered flannel shirt, Cargo foldable pants, hi cut shoes and a checkered flat hat!

Actually I feel that having legwear as part of my accessory is gradually becoming a very non-event thing(which is good) and no one in my cellgroup even talks about what I wore anymore, compared to when I started having legwear for the first few weeks. And the response I was getting from strangers is almost non-evident, and it is usually responses in our own heads. For example, I got myself a new pair of jeans and it's a pair that I really like and I subconsciously expect passer-by's to take notice my jeans because of my knowledge of it being new and nice! Now, obviously to the average passer-by.. they wouldn't know that those jeans are new and neither would they know the jeans were my favourite. We just think too much about ourselves, especially for the men who are trying out legwear with shorter pants. The fact is society is becoming self-absorbed, I mean isn't it true? We are also self-absorbed to also think that people are noticing us.. which is usually not the case.. I mean unless we go around wearing a mascot costume, I'm sure everyone would be noticing.. for a short while that is.

As for future hosiery orders for January I'm actually looking at probably ordering one of Sarah Borghi's Patterned Tights "Line" 

The line pattern looks pretty neat I must say! Once again I'm very thankful for the support you readers give this blog! In fact I have an appeal.. especially for the Singapore readers.. as I have noticed a big number of Singapore users reading this blog. I hope to actually hear from you through this blog or add me up on Google+ via this blog and also on Facebook.
