Welcome to Outfit of the Week #123! And this week we will be looking at this outfit!

This outfit is part of Nuno Gama's Spring Summer 2016 collection and it isn't the first time he was featured here, we have featured his Autumn Winter collection of 2015 in our Outfit of the Week #116 and #92 Interesting of concept of having opaques in a Spring/Summer outfit when opaques are mostly worn in colder seasons like Autumn and Winter. I applaud the out-of-the-box approach but then again you might think.. wouldn't it be too warm to wear opaque? Well.. I bring you this!

Awesome outfit combination by Nuno Gama! I really like Nuno Gama's tops and outerwear, I like the somewhat classic Roman Catholic style of prints and patterns he has, really nice simple looking outfit here, white patterned long sleeved top, black shorts and black opaques with wine red colour sneakers, I like the white shoe laces that really bring out a contrast along the legs region. I think this is a great look some of the more mature males can do! What do you think?

Welcome to Outfit of the Week #106 This week we are looking at this outfit!

This is a good simple outfit, to me I feel it's kinda bold as you'd definitely gonna be getting eyes locked on your legs.. but really people like us.. who cares? Good colour white T-shirt, grey shorts, grey semi opaque tights and sneakers. I feel it's always safe to have same colour bottoms with tights.

I really recommend doing this outfit after you have already gained more confidence wearing tights out with shorts of a longer length(covering the knee caps). Why do I mention about kneecaps? Well it's quite simple especially when you sit or squat or bend your knees the fabric would start stretching and it would get less opaque(depending on denier) and you get that somewhat sheer hosiery look which might sometimes worry some men who just started wearing tights with shorts and fear about additional comments from people(which I totally share that sentiment in my earlier days).

Street Legwear Fashion #February 2015

Welcome to February's edition of Street Legwear Fashion! This month too without an exception we are featured as a couple with 2 pairs of Pretty Legs 80 Denier Opaque Tights sent complimentary by UK Tights! 

This month we are looking at these!

We were sent 2 colours, 1 pair in Navy S/M size and 1 pair in Black M/L size. And here are some photos of us!

First look putting them on, I thought that size M/L would have been small for me but I was wrong! These were very stretchy actually and another good point is that they weren't overly stretched either, the fit was excellent and are quite soft as well, these tights feature reinforced toes and body along with Lycra 3D for the good fit and made of 90% Nylon and 10% Lycra.

If you are looking for nice but yet affordable tights which UK Tights retail at 4.50 GBP, these are great and they come in 7 different coloured shades which include: Black, Navy, Chocolate, Cobalt Blue, Bottle, Burgundy and Grey.

In conclusion these are great tights for its price. Personally I felt that it would have been good if it included a gusset for even better durability and fit on the crotch area. But hey if they included that, you'd probably won't be getting them for 4.50GBP right? Hahaha!

Outfit of the Week #68

Welcome to the first Outfit of the Week of 2015! And I feel a good way to kick off is to feature one of my outfits!

Most of my threads were from Thailand, with the exception of shoes, lenseless frames, my Tiger Head backpack(not seen) and tights. I wore a simple black T-shirt with a Hammer and Sickle print and a drop crotch pants which I rolled up to my knees to show the Cette Dublin black opaque tights. You can get them from UK Tights at 13.99GBP Overall I like how the outfit looked!

Weekly Vibe #109

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 109th edition of Weekly Vibe! This week was really awesome as we recently received 6 pairs of tights from UK Tights, kept 3 for myself and 3 for my girlfriend! Huge thanks to them!

Weekly Vibe #107

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #107! I hope you guys didn't get hurt from the Black Friday shopping rush! Well I didn't do much shopping myself for Black Friday, I think it would be wiser to shop online for Black Friday sales! 

Black Friday Zombies.. I mean shoppers lol

Many of our favourite hosiery retailers had various special Black Friday sales and I hope you guys took the opportunity to shop because sadly I didn't! :( 

This week I did something really cool with my girlfriend, we actually sat down looking at online hosiery retailer sites picking out tights for awesome couple looks! To be honest I'd really never thought this is something I thought would happen! It's just WOW! We looked through a few kinds, some were patterned and some were opaque tights and decided a few already! I'm truly thankful to God for sending me such an awesome partner in life! Hallelujah! 

I also can't believe it that time really flies and we are already in the month of December! I'm so looking forward to Christmas! 

Well that's all I have for you! Seems like after Black Friday sales, most of our hosiery retailers are on a break!

I found this while exploring Chan Kraemer's Mantyhose page, pity that he doesn't update often but when he does you will find very nice photos and articles.

I really like how the photo was composed and I found it oozing with manliness everywhere. I mean the outfit is so simple, black patterned T-shirt, black shorts, black opaque tights and high cut shoes. I honestly can't find any fault or any kind of effeminate alarm going off here. It's just a outfit that is "just nice".

Outfit of the Week #13

This week's 13th OOTW is unique as it features a friend Otto from UFASH

I have been admiring this outfit for quite awhile and I believe it deserves to be featured here! If you're a consumer of ADRIAN hosiery products, you would instantly recognise the ADRIAN Grating tights Otto has on, I really like the black sweater he has on and along with his black hat, the shorts give a rugged look with the boots complimenting with the rugged look. Overall the outfit gives a feeling of going out on a golf tour but not on any golf tour but the sort with the great outdoors. Really nice outfit altogether! My compliments to Otto!

First impression when I saw this photo was... "Wow! Nice hairdo and facial hair bro!! And you guys know how masculine looking facial like that looks and not to mention that it shows a form of seniority and maturity. I have been having feedbacks from readers that tell me that "Nahh the outfits you show wouldn't fit us, they are mostly for the young!" Well here is something for you gents out there! Nice blazer and shirt he got on and then came the really exotic looking shorts, black opaque tights or leggings and high cut sneakers spotting both the mature and the young at the same time! And if you got that kind of hair and facial hair, why not try something like this for this weekend? Let me know about it!

New Tights Order: July 2013

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

I have recently ordered a pair of FALKE Pure Matt 100 denier tights from Tightsplease

It is the first time I'm trying FALKE and we all know it to be one of the top brands and boy am I really looking forward to these! Amazingly these are going at a discounted 45% off, it usually retails at 24.48 GBP and now it has been reduced to 13.46GBP shipping within UK is free as well! Don't wait till too long before the offer is gone!

I ordered a black pair in XL however it seems like Tightsplease has ran out of stock in L & XL sizes so it's on back order, I think I'm probably see a pattern either it's really tall women ordering or just more men ordering from them..? What do you think?

In Focus: Knittex 20 Den Smart Tights

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Today we will be taking an in depth look of a unique pair of tights by Knittex. As you all might have know that Knittex has graciously sent me 2 sample pairs of their men's collection of their hosiery products, one of which is this "Smart" 20 den tights and the "Sporty" 100 den Opaque Footless Tights, you can read the review of the latter in here (You might probably notice the package saying 30 den but actually in its physical form.. it has been corrected to 20 den)

The Smart tights was packaged in a very classy rectangular cardboard packaging with the tights wrapped around a card in a clear plastic envelope which I find it useful to store my tights. Packaging is style is identical to that of the Sporty Opaque Footless Tights.

At first I got very mixed feelings as I am not a big fan of sheers at all due to the fact that sheer tights typically do not last long. I was more meticulous at handling and putting them on, I usually would use gloved hands to put on my tights and these sheers were no exceptions because no one likes having snags in their tights right?

Putting them was quite a bit of an experience because I didn't want ruin them so soon, when I actually rolled them up all the way to my thigh I found out to my horror, the right inner thigh part of the tights had a very tiny snag mark and I wasn't too sure if I caused or not, but it wasn't so bad as that part of my legs wouldn't show.. But it didn't matter as I wore jeans because it was working day for me. They seem to glide very well up my legs and under long pants, it was actually quite easy to wear them provided that your legs are dry of course! I also noticed a matt shine to the tights. The boxer and socks were made of higher denier content, opacity looking like 80 denier.

I wore them for the entire work day at the gallery taking enquiries, I'm usually tasked to work in the studio as a photographer but specially for that week I was assigned to the gallery, so I thought I try the Smart tights under my jeans.

These tights are designed to be worn as undergarment as well which is something I really like about Knittex tights. They actually felt really comfortable and smooth, so much so that I forgot that they are actually still on! And well I have to say that though these don't cost a lot but in terms of comfort, they fall under the category of excellent hosiery brands. Not the sort you pick up from the drug store.

Price: 16.54 Polish Zlotys which equates to about US$5.26 or GBP 3.45

Material content: Polyamide 88% & Elastane 12% with gusset

Sizes: 3, 4 & 5 M, L & XL

Colours: Black

Pros: Nice glide, comfortable, stays in place, good size ranges, inexpensive & unique.

Cons: Snag easily due to denier level, you can wear them for extended times only if you have taken very very good care of them & a lot more care is needed to handle them.

In conclusion I would like to describe these tights to be a little bit of an adventure for me, the adventure of putting them on and not ruining them so soon and the adventure of actually enjoying how they felt on my legs. I am rating these 2.5 out of 5 stars. If you are really into something unique and sheer or just something to wear under your mundane working attire in lieu of your socks.. try these! :)

Just Arrived: Gatta Rosalia & Florence Opaque tights

I have ordered 3 pairs of tights from Itsocks last week and they just arrived yesterday. 

I sadly found out that Itsocks site has already been deactivated and these tights will serve to me as a rememberance to Itsocks for being a great hosiery retailer for men and women. I'm sure for the customers that has purchased from them will also feel the loss. I'm glad at least I helped out to clear whatever stocks Anna has got left. I believe that Anna will be doing well in whatever she will start to do in the future! :)

Special Arrival: Knittex "Smart" & "Sporty"

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Knittex has kindly sent samples of their new male line of hosiery, they have mailed me Smart and Sporty. Smart is a pretty unique one has they have mock socks and mock boxers and Sporty are opaque footless tights.

Something unique in the package was a letter but it was written in Polish and me not being a Pole, I wouldn't understand so I would really hope someone would help me translate the letter! The only word I could make out was "facebook" and "kontakt" which is identical to the German variation of the word "contact".

I will be placing priority first for the reviews on these legwear products. So you will be reading up on them pretty soon!

New Tights Order: February 2013

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

I have recently ordered a pair of Gatta Rosalia 100 den tights from ITSOCKS.

It is my first time ordering from ITSOCKS and boy these pair of tights were priced at just 3.99GBP! I was looking out for a normal but good pair opaque black tights to match with my own clothes, as you know I have many different coloured pairs but not many plain black ones except for the A866 but that pair has full support and I would  just want to let my legs not feel too compressed all the time. These tights have very good reviews from other hosiery related blogs and I would love to review these myself when they arrive!

Just Arrived: OroBLU Omnia and Charnos 60 Den Opaques

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

I ordered 2 pairs of tights; OroBLU Omnia and Charnos 60 Denier Opaque tights (Bottle green colour) from Tightsplease and they have arrived! This time the shipping time was a lot faster, it came after about 2 weeks.

When I opened OroBLU Omnia tights, they looked really long! And that is indeed a good start! To be honest I am really still thinking of how would I wear my clothes with these tights... but I'm sure there would be a tasteful way to wear them! I will figure them out eventually! I will still do my reviews on the Charnos 60 den tights first before going on to the OroBLU ones. Last night I actually helped mum to order 2 more pairs of Activskin's A839, she is actually requested me to get more of them because there weren't enough for her to wear them! Wow!
