Outfit of the Week #49

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to OOTW #49! And this week we are having this outfit featured!

Chan Kraemer rocking in his white opaques
Well well it's our Godfather Chan Kraemer once again! "White tights? Aren't they supposed to be for the little girls who do ballet!?" I would have said that myself! But hey Chan Kraemer doesn't care! The plaid patterned shirt just gives it a pretty autumn feel? Autumn feels to me like plaids, checks and tartan. And hey that is when mostly people wear tights to feel warmer as it's getting colder already. The colour combination is feel is kinda interesting, I do not know what Chan wanted to show here, if you are a guy who is shy about getting people staring at your legs, white opaques will definitely not help you a lot, with the off white cargo shorts he is wearing, if he was going to wear black opaques, he would definitely get more attention, but if you want to be "camouflaged" or at least look properly "coloured" you could maybe try red opaques? I think it will look pretty good!

White tights? Yes or no?

Outfit of the Week #48

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 48th edition of OOTW! This week we have this!

Wow! I have to say it's really one bold statement! I actually did want to try one of these patterned tights but I found them a little too loud, I'd probably only do it if I have a very bold coloured top so my tights get muted instead of standing out. But hey if Chan can so can YOU! These tights look like one of Jonathan Aston's Lightning Tights

Patterned tights like this, yes or no? Or should I say, will you try them?

Outfit of the Week #47

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 47th edition of OOTW! This week we have this!

This look is braved by the "Godfather" of Men's hosiery fashion Chan Kraemer with one of Emilio Cavallini's cult edition Stars tights. You just can't fault Chan Kraemer in his outfits and all of the outfits he does have gone through considerable fashionable decisions. He is meticulous about the right coloured shoes, right coloured clothes and even accessories! You can't go wrong with Godfather Chan Kraemer! I really want Emilio Cavallini's tights!

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

This week's Outfit of the Week we are having something really unique!

Photo property of Lulusoso.com

These isn't real tattoos but tattoo patterned tights! I have always been so interested in them but could really find really nice and masculine patterns and I believe you might have seen Chan Kraemer's tribal tattoo tights look as seen below

I was really hoping that I would find out where Chan got his tattoo tights but no... not happening as he mentioned these are tights supposedly made for women.. my bubble burst.. but oh well.. my search still continues!

Tattoo tights? Yes or No?

Outfit of the Week #40

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

This week's Outfit of the Week #40 we have this!

Photo found on Fotocloud

I found this while exploring Chan Kraemer's Mantyhose page, pity that he doesn't update often but when he does you will find very nice photos and articles.

I really like how the photo was composed and I found it oozing with manliness everywhere. I mean the outfit is so simple, black patterned T-shirt, black shorts, black opaque tights and high cut shoes. I honestly can't find any fault or any kind of effeminate alarm going off here. It's just a outfit that is "just nice".

What do you think?

Weekly Vibe #20

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to the 20th edition of Weekly Vibe! This week has been full of ups and downs for me, mostly the downs, but thank God I'm looking at the bright side of things! I'm really glad I finally started the LFFM Digest early this week, I actually took a month or so to write the first one actually, the reason why I took that long was that I needed a lot of research and relevant pictures and of course not to mention.. the "disease" of procrastination. But I hope you guys actually enjoy reading the 1st LFFM Digest!

In the recent news, there has been buzz about  Mantyhose in New York, you could read all about it here. So far the reactions are quite mixed. Well I feel that Mantyhose is a very niche fashion item, not every man will dare to wear them or get caught wearing them with shorts. I had an interesting experience myself last evening, I had on one of the Charnos Navy Blue Opaques with cargo length shorts and when I boarded the train bound home, I noticed 2 Caucasian women looking at me and giggling. Hahahahaha! I really could care less personally. I'm sure if I wore a Ushanka, I will most likely get the same reaction. It is a common trend for artists to be dressed differently, just look at fashion designers, photographers, painters & anyone in the art scene, we stand out! Why be normal and be someone else? We want to be ourselves and people.. just be yourself because everyone else is taken!

Chan Kraemer, one of the pioneers and the driving force and also my personal inspiration has revamped the Mantyhose.net site. It looks pretty neat right now! I really liked one of the articles he wrote about "Pantyhose For Men / Mantyhose: Not unisex fashion.":

"It’s an old question: are mantyhose just rebranded women’s pantyhose? Are these guys wearing ladies’ garment at the end? Chan Kraemer, founder of mantyhose.net (formerly: e-MANcipate.net) says he doesn’t want to see mantyhose as some kind of crossdressing issue.
“Its genuine male fashion, intented for everyday men” he says. “It’s no way about the weakening of the male idea. Men have strong, muscular legs. Show your mantyhose-decorated legs and you’re saying: here are my legs, they are strong enough to carry me, and I am carrying the whole world – my family, my job, and all the others who rely on me.”
“Its not a surprise that men used to show their legs for centuries, if not for millenia, as a symbol of their strength and manhood. And yes, ladies do find the male legs sexy.”
My salute and hat's off to Chan! I would really love to meet and talk to him in person! For the men out there who have hosiery as part of their fashion wardrobe, Chan has got to be the best inspiration!
