Welcome to Street Legwear Fashion VIII! With the haze in Singapore dissipating and feeling better physically(still not feeling my best) I managed to do a Street Legwear Fashion post!

And in this edition we will be looking at the Tiffany Quinn Sheer Front Stripe Tights!

These were very kindly sent to by UK Tights in fact they sent me another pair for the blog anniversary! I had my eyes on these when they were first shown on UK Tights' site, I had been wearing mostly opaques and wanted to push the envelope to wear sheers with shorts but also not in stealth mode, on deliberate "show off" mode. I wanted to show guys that "Hey if you are brave enough you can wear these too!"


I really like the way Tiffany Quinn packages their hosiery and I really like the tagline "Dare to Wear" on their package. Hell yeah! I dare to wear! 

However since there was still the haze, I decided to pair my outfit with a cool looking Respro Sportsta respirator and voila I looked like a ninja or a Sith... with sheer patterned tights! Hahaha!

Man I really liked this look! I was wearing a T-shirt with Japanese Yakuza patterns and a pair of spacey patterned shorts and mid-cut sneakers.

I was given a pair in M/L, these tights fit me well(my height is 1.75m and weigh 88kg). Some things I noticed about them are that you can wear them both ways as the seams are just patterned on one side which means you could wear them front or back facing. The stripe patterns I realised are not printed but woven in which is really cool like having different deniers with every stripe pattern which also helps for hosiery durability too and not get any colour fading if they were printed.

These tights feature a reinforced top and reinforced toes but do not feature a gusset(which I personally still prefer having) they are 15 denier(on the sheer areas) made of 95% Polyamide and 5% Elastane. They overall feel fine, you might feel a little bit of the itch at first caused from the patterns but eventually it wouldn't bother you as you have them on long enough, I also would recommend using a little fabric softener to make it less irritating to the skin. Costing at GBP 6.99 a pair and they comes in 2 sizes S/M and M/L these Tiffany Quinn tights are really awesome as they really do cause that "turn head" or "eyes to the legs" effect on people. If you are really looking for something rad and new to try, these do make a good candidate!

Street(Sith) Legwear Fashion August 2015

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Street Legwear Fashion August 2015 or should I say Sith Legwear Fashion August 2015? Hahaha! I know it's the month of September already but I couldn't find the time to do it so I decided to feature August's today but it's a little something special this month!

Many of you know of something new I picked up which is lightsaber duelling, a form of swordplay martial arts based on the Kali style, but of course what can be better doing it while wearing tights? And so I did it of course!

I was wearing my normal workout clothes and I teamed up with a pair of Cette Dublin opaque tights and with the Vibram style 5fingers shoes, but.. wait Cette Dublin tights aren't toeless right? Well because I realised that there were already a hole in the toe of the right foot, I decided to trim off just the toe portion and voila! I originally had intended to use the convertible ballet tights from Silky which UK Tights had sent to me for it but unfortunately trying on I realised that my big feet has probably overstrained the convertible hole in the feet causing a small ladder that went up to my right mid heel but man those were really very very silky tights as their brand name suggests! :( I guess I will have to go for the stirrups next time!

I have to say that the Vibram style 5 Fingers shoes is indeed very interesting and I found myself being more manoeuvrable in them but I found that I really really should cut my toenails!

I have uploaded a video of my duel with a friend, you could see very clearly I'm wearing tights in that video and I was a lot faster than my previous duels, now what I really need are good support toeless tights!

I just got one or two comments from my fellow Lightsaber mates but mostly on the shoes... I just let my Lightsaber do the talking.. Hahaha!

Overall I feel great in this outfit not need to wearing my knee length pants again! Shorts, Tights and 5 finger shoes are the way to go!

Street Legwear Fashion #July 2015

Welcome to Street Legwear Fashion #July 2015! This month we are featuring leggings by Silky!

These lovely leggings Silky Leather Look Leggings and Silky Blaze Leggings were kindly sent by our good friends from UK Tights! 

I went with the Silky Leather Look leggings and my girlfriend went for the Silky Blaze leggings, these leather look leggings happened to be my first pair of its kind, and I must say I was quite excited for them and it was also a little bit of change for me as I wore tights most of the time. 

At close up and even from afar this leather look leggings do really look leather and it also provides the same leather feel from the inside AND the outside too! 

I requested a size L for them and the fit was good, it wasn't baggy and loose, there is also room along the waist area. At 150 denier they provide warmth as well and that's a good thing for the coming colder months soon! These are made out of 90% Polyamide and 10% Spandex and yes indeed because of the spandex they stretch well and you don't need to pull them up as they don't roll down as you wear them throughout the day.

The same sentiments were shared with the Silky Blaze Leggings, the colours are really rich and bright, they also fit well, roomy waist area and they don't roll down easily too, these are made out of 100% Polyamide and at 150 denier these provide warmth as well, ample size along the waist area.

These leggings are priced pretty decent at 8.99GBP a pair or US14.00 a pair, they come in 3 sizes Medium, Large and Extra Large. And other than just these 2 styles UK Tights also stock up 4 other styles in Silky new line of leggings. 

One of the things I realised are that they bunch up along my kneecap area which you can see in the picture on the top, I personally think it's fine as it gives a unique creative look. In conclusion I feel that these leggings are great and really worth the money if you are looking for a leather look leggings and not wanting to pay the money to buy big brand leather leggings. I highly recommend them!

Weekly Vibe #134

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

This week has been really awesome as the tights I ordered and given by UK Tights have arrived!

I have passed on the tights and leggings to my girlfriend and she was really delighted!

This week on a Friday I had an awesome dinner outing at a Korean BBQ restaurant with my cellgroup members! Look at the food! Mmmm!!! 

On the coming Monday(tomorrow) I will be wearing out the Emilio Cavallini Firenze Tights(as seen on top) with my girlfriend to do Street Legwear Fashion June and we are gonna watch The Minions film! To be honest I'm feeling pretty afraid but screw it, I will just do it anyways hahaha!

Street Legwear Fashion : #Mayday 2015!

Welcome Street Legwear Fashion #May 2015! I have to apologise for missing out on March and April! Well I suppose we aren't always masters of our time! But alas as May the 1st was Labour Day, I had the time to do it and my girlfriend was there to help too! Sadly she wasn't able to find the Kisses pattern tights I got her the last time so this time it's just me!

This time we feature the Trasparenze Grammy tights!

I got these pair from UK Tights for my birthday actually, it was kind of like a wanting to try something new, something out of the usual, and actually most of the time I'd purchase opaque tights but hey another year older, why not something new? 

Well to start off, it's actually my first pair from Trasparenze too and a first sheer pair of patterned tights too and I wasn't disappointed with their quality! I decided go with a black T-shirt and a black pair of patterned shorts and really I tell you, the moment I left home and headed to the metro, it's like suddenly you become the centre of attention, I'm not too sure if the commuters were staring at my legs or my Tiger headed backpack but I noticed eyes were down at my legs and I just really wonder what goes on in their heads... perhaps tattoo!? cool tights!?

So anyways I was standing at the metro station of my destination waiting for my girlfriend and I took a little artistic reflection shot of my legs and Instagram'ed it and voila shortly my girlfriend came up behind me and said.. "Cool tights!!!"

Well at first my girlfriend who actually spotted me from behind she couldn't make out from far what I was wearing and maybe thought they were tattoos? And I guess that probably was maybe the many intrigued faces? 

And so we set off to photo location and grabbed some really cool shots along the path to Esplanade Theatres at the Bay!

I mean you could tell it from the photos here too, they don't look like tights at all! Well one reason actually to state is that these colour of these tights were matched very close to my skin colour that you almost couldn't see any difference until upclose! The funniest encounter we both had was as we were walking along the corridor of outside of a restaurant and we saw this guy seated in the restaurant with eyes wide open and lower jaw on the floor.. well not literally of course.. Hahaha! And we both had a laugh! What an encounter!

As you can see upclose, you could actually see the slight sheen on them, and what really amazed were that these patterns aren't printed on but were knitted reinforced patterns! Such awesomely well made! And really these tights though 15 denier and sheer but seem well made and are pretty robust too, made up of 93% Polyamide and 7% Elastane. It features reinforced brief that is opaque black knit the same way as the patterns as well, reinforced toes that go with the patterns too! And the seams flat.  I really like the fact that they featured a gusset as well for better durability and pretty worth the money! These tights come in 2 colours, Skin(Cosmetica) and Black colour(Nero) and I got one L sized and in Skin colour and it fit me pretty well at 1.75m tall and at 80ish kg.

And I believe at this juncture, you'd really love to get your hands one of them! But unfortunately since these tights are so awesome, they are pretty much out of stock at UK Tights and other online hosiery retailers even at Trasparenze online store(That's how popular it is!) But no worries! You could try Amazon which goes at US$18.56 a pair. 

Man I really don't mind having another pair, probably in black! In conclusion I really like these pair of tights and wearing these have broken another frontier for me as well and that means I'm looking for more patterned sheer tights too!

Street Legwear Fashion #February 2015

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to February's edition of Street Legwear Fashion! This month too without an exception we are featured as a couple with 2 pairs of Pretty Legs 80 Denier Opaque Tights sent complimentary by UK Tights! 

This month we are looking at these!

We were sent 2 colours, 1 pair in Navy S/M size and 1 pair in Black M/L size. And here are some photos of us!

First look putting them on, I thought that size M/L would have been small for me but I was wrong! These were very stretchy actually and another good point is that they weren't overly stretched either, the fit was excellent and are quite soft as well, these tights feature reinforced toes and body along with Lycra 3D for the good fit and made of 90% Nylon and 10% Lycra.

If you are looking for nice but yet affordable tights which UK Tights retail at 4.50 GBP, these are great and they come in 7 different coloured shades which include: Black, Navy, Chocolate, Cobalt Blue, Bottle, Burgundy and Grey.

In conclusion these are great tights for its price. Personally I felt that it would have been good if it included a gusset for even better durability and fit on the crotch area. But hey if they included that, you'd probably won't be getting them for 4.50GBP right? Hahaha!

Street Legwear Fashion #January 2015

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Street Legwear Fashion January 2015!! First post of the year! This month we are featured once again as a couple!

This January's Street Legwear Fashion, we feature the Wolford Opaque 70 tights that were kindly sent by UK Tights and it's currently on a limited time deal at 18.99 GBP and these tights are seasonal as well so grab them before they return again in season!

Currently at UK Tights, these tights come in only one colour(Black) with 3 sizes in UK Tights, M, L and XL. I tested a pair in XL and my girlfriend in M. 

Our foots! 

Personally I know how great Wolford tights are and the Wolford Opaque 70 Tights are no exception either but I decided ask my girlfriend and here is what she had to say about them. She personally feels that these tights are very soft to touch but yet feel durable at the same time, due to the fact they are so well-woven, they feel like non-run tights. One can wear them often as they can last for many many wears! I got her an M to be safe so it was a little longer for her but however out of 5 stars she rated them 5 stars as well! These are indeed really great tights! It's really well worth the money! And you should get them too!
