Welcome to Weekly Vibe #160! Apologies for the delay in posting as I had to work on that Monday(which is my usual blogging day) Be sure to check our Special Outfit of the Week feature post from yesterday which features a new face to our blog and also a review on the Non-no 80 denier Water/Wind resistant tights!

Recently I found out that another male legwear blogger is online! Well how I found out was that Tights For Men actually followed us on our Twitter account! If you haven't read his blog, check it out! Our friend Hosiery For Men has recently interviewed him, do check it out if you haven't! Hmm perhaps I should try the Aristoc The Ultimate Leg Luxury 80..

I recently ordered a really interesting pair of shoes from Taobao! And they are LED shoes!!

I am so looking forward to styling them with legwear!! And if you are interested in getting them check them out! However you do need someone who understands mandarin or use Google Translate to order them!

Special Outfit of the Week feature: Mitch #January 2016

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to a Special Outfit of the Week post! Many of you might have read about me talking about a special representative for Legwear Fashion For Men and today we finally got the feature and this time we feature a possible long term partner, Mitch on the plate!

We are also looking at reviewing the special Non-No Water/Wind Resistant 80 Denier Opaque Tights from Taiwan.

Both Mitch and I have worn and will be giving our opinions on these tights.

It is actually the very first pair of tights Mitch owns and to be honest I feel these are really a great pair of tights. According to him these tights feels soft and silky, great plus points are that they are comfortable and warm coupled with the pros that it's water and wind resistant which makes it great for colder climates. However he finds them a little warm for a warm climate like Singapore, asking him if he would wear them often, he said yes and if it would recommend the readers.. yes he would! In conclusion he rated them 4 out of 5 stars.

Now from my personal take on these tights, these tights also feature some support on the knee area, great features I felt are that they really really stretch well and totally no problems fitting me, I also like the fact that though these tights are pretty cheap they also feature a nice gusset comparable to that you see in Charnos 60 denier opaque tights, the water resistant fibres are a German engineered feature by Bionic Finish. The opaque coverage is awesome and very uniform as you can see from Mitch's legs, as described on the cover, it is 80 denier with 110 denier kind of coverage on the legs.

They really stretchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Not much is written about fabric composition on these tights, however it is clear that spandex is most likely present in these tights, cons for these tights I would say are that so far I am only able procure them from Taiwan by being there and possibly asking a friend who is visiting there to get me a pair.. however I did source that Taobao was selling them in 6 pairs at 265 RMB which is about US$40 which is pretty expensive and that still excludes shipping overseas and I actually bought this from a lifestyle store in Taiwan for about USD$4 a pair, can you imagine USD$4 for such great quality tights? It's insane!

These tights come in 3 colours, black, dark grey and navy blue and come in 2 sizes Normal (Fits up to waist 85cm - 110cm, height 150cm - 180cm) and M-LL (Fits up to waist 90cm -115cm, height 155cm - 185cm)

In conclusion, I would say.. go buy an air ticket to Taiwan take an nice tour to Taiwan(it's really a very beautiful country with very nice food, polite people and nice pretty women you see in tights 90% of the time)and if you are a fan of black opaque tights like me, get a pair and try them and if you like them, get dozens of them and while you're at it get me some as well!

Weekly Vibe #159

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #159! We are in 3rd week of January already! And finally the Fiore Classic Olga Microfibre Tights I ordered from Tights and More arrived!

I also got another pair of water resistant tights of another brand from Karl Mode shown below, I will be testing them soon!

I'm still kind of suffering from the holiday withdrawal symptoms however I was glad to be able to celebrate Orthodox Christmas with my friends! YUM! I always love celebrating TWO Christmases! Hahaha!

Now I'm looking forward to something new to try and would be nice that I can do a review on them! And after reading on some background information it looks like it's a Ukrainian brand! So far I have tried Italian, German, Austrian, Polish, Japanese, Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese made hosiery but still yet to try Ukrainian hosiery! I'm pretty excited! 

Some of the products I'm eyeing are the Galaxy 120 and the Impresso 40!

Hmm why the Impresso 40? You might wonder.. well because it features the non-slip silicone strips found in lace top hold up stockings and I believe this might be the end of dropping waistbands! Also I'm willing to start trying less opaque tights with my outfits! Getting really excited!

Outfit of the Week #114

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Outfit of the Week #114! This week we are featuring one more outfit I wore while I was in holiday in Taiwan!

I initially was quite hesitant to wear these Emilio Cavallini Spiral Striped Tights but I was thinking meh.. Why not!? And turns out that it looks pretty nice! I was wearing black T-shirt, paired with a double breasted jacket and a pair of drop crotch pants(rolled up)

Here is another view of my outfit(well my sister took a sneak shot of me shooting my mum) Hahaha!

Weekly Vibe #158

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Happy New Year and this is 2016's first Weekly Vibe! As you might have read that I was in on a holiday to Taiwan and Vietnam and I just got back a few days ago! If you have followed my Instagram you would have seen many of the photos I shared, if you haven't here are some photos!

While I was commuting in Kaohsiung's metro system I noticed that they have got a special anime mascot for marketing and man I could helping but drool.. and yes I do love anime girls.. Hahaha! Too bad they aren't real..

And of course the mascot train driver just had to wear black tights with her outfit! Hahaha!

And needless to say in my time in Kaohsiung and Hanoi it was no surprise to find the local women in tights and hosiery and the guys in leggings too! That's an awesome sight to be honest!When I was in Taiwan I checked out one of their special lifestyle shops called "POYA" which also sells a huge range of hosiery literally hundreds of them with Taiwanese made and China made brands and guess what? They got a special men's section too! 

I was really peeling my eyes for water and wind resistant tights which one of our readers have suggested and I have featured as well and finally after 30 mins of searching and not looking awkward to the female shoppers near me, I found them and I took 6 pairs leaving just 1 pair left on the shelf.. Hahaha!

They sell pretty cheap too! Like US$4 a pair and how could I resist? I will be doing a special review on this soon! 4 pairs for me and the 2 other pairs for friends! :)

Needless to say I really enjoyed myself in Taiwan! I spent one night in Hanoi and I enjoyed the nice coffee and bread along with some very exotic food!

Had lovely beef Pho, fried worm-like stuff and barbecued quail! Interesting indeed!

I'd totally go back to Taiwan again and again during winter! Totally miss Taiwan even now!

Outfit of the Week #113

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Happy New Year everyone! This week we will be looking at this outfit which I have a put together!

I was on a holiday in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and boy was I glad that I could finally whip out my winter outfits! Personally I'm very pleased with how it turned out! I was wearing black long sleeved cowl collared shirt, a Navy blue coloured double breasted jacket from Zara, black drop-crotch shorts and black Wolford 70 opaque tights along with my high cut black leather sneakers from VAN'S. The temperature wasn't too cold, was like around 17 to 20 degrees celsius, great weather for tights and outfit play! :)

Weekly Vibe #157

Hi Creative and Fashionable people!

Welcome to Weekly Vibe #157! Sorry for the lack of posting last week, I was tied down with studio location and other things like... Star Wars : The Force Awakens! I managed to catch it early on the 16th December on the premiere (Note that Singapore is 12+ hours ahead of the US timing) And needless to say of course I took the opportunity to dress up! I was also invited to attend in other Star Wars related events and here are some photos!
